PBBC takes the ministry of prayer very seriously. It has been the pattern of the church to devote not only to teaching, fellowship, and breaking of the bread but also to prayer (Acts 2:42). We believe prayer to be a mighty instrument that God has given the Church aid us in aligning ourselves to His will. Prayer is also a vital part of our Sunday worship service being the oxygen that sustains us daily. For this reason, we designate specific time during our service on Sunday morning to pray with and for our brothers and sisters. Also, every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. we dedicate ourselves to fervent prayer. Come join us! As we experience the privilege and power of this sweet hour of prayer! Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, [anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. (James 5:13-15)
